Implementing a SSL client in Squid is on the todo list. Should not be a
very hard thing to do as the framework is there already.

I suppose you know the implications of having a HTTPS proxy. The
security implications should not be taken lightly. It's major area of
use is in accelerators/surrogates, not proxies.
